The Department of Women's Studies offers two certificate programs:

General Certificate

Ths certificate is designed to provide additional training for individuals in any field who desire to increase their understanding of women in the humanities, health, and social sciences, as well as become proficient in understanding basic theories unique to the discipline. The purpose of this certificate is to provide an opportunity for students enrolled in graduate programs at SDSU to increase their understanding of women in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The certificate program addresses diverse ways for students to develop knowledge of how women live, think, resist, create knowledge, and engage in cultural activism.
